Grant Thornton named one of America’s Best Employers for Company Culture by Forbes

Recognition marks second consecutive year the firm has earned the distinction

CHICAGO — Grant Thornton, one of America’s largest brands of professionals providing end-to-end audit, assurance, tax and advisory services, has been named to Forbes’ America’s Best Employers for Company Culture 2026 for the second consecutive year.

The annual list, compiled by Forbes in partnership with market research firm Statista, is based on an independent survey of more than 217,000 U.S.-based employees at organizations with at least 1,000 employees. The survey evaluates key drivers of company culture informed by employee perceptions of the overall work environment and growth opportunities.

“This recognition means a lot to us because it highlights something we truly believe: culture matters. At Grant Thornton, The GT Way guides how we lead, make decisions, and show up when it counts,” said Rashada Whitehead, Grant Thornton’s chief communications, culture & inclusion officer. “Our culture comes to life through the everyday actions and experiences that shape our work. We want every teammate to feel supported with the tools, guidance, and confidence to navigate the business, work together, and deliver for our clients.”

Grant Thornton’s people-first culture emphasizes flexibility, professional development and well-being, enabling its professionals to grow their careers while delivering high-quality service. The firm continues to evolve its workplace practices to meet the needs of a changing workforce and remain competitive in attracting top talent.

“This recognition underscores our commitment to building a firm where people feel supported and have the opportunity to grow,” said Jeanna Shapiro, Grant Thornton’s chief people & culture officer. “By investing in our people and evolving our workplace to meet the needs of a changing workforce, we’re positioning Grant Thornton for sustained growth and long-term success.”

This recognition adds to a growing list of recent workplace and culture honors for Grant Thornton. In recent months, the firm was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Entry-Level Employees 2026 by Newsweek, earned a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index and received honors from the Brandon Hall Group for learning and development excellence.
