Grant Thornton wins Gold in Brandon Hall Group™ Excellence in Action Awards

Firm honored for outstanding learning and development programs

CHICAGO — Grant Thornton, one of America’s largest brands of professionals providing end-to-end audit, assurance, tax and advisory services, has earned a Gold award in Brandon Hall Group's™ Excellence in Action Awards. The firm was recognized in the Learning and Development (L&D) category for its comprehensive initiatives designed to support employee growth and readiness.

Grant Thornton was recognized for its approach to L&D, which includes programs such as digital badging, career milestone academies and an updated succession planning process. These efforts are backed by strong results that demonstrate their impact: in 2024, employees averaged 39 hours of learning, well above the industry average, while maintaining a 99.5% compliance rate for mandatory training. The programs also achieved strong learner satisfaction and measurable improvements in skill development.

Entries for the 2025 Excellence in Action Awards were evaluated by a panel of independent industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives based on measurable impact, key metrics, employee testimonials and organizational success stories. Winners will be celebrated at Brandon Hall Group’s Excellence Conference in February 2026 at the Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida.
