Grant Thornton named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families by Newsweek for second consecutive year

CHICAGO — Grant Thornton, one of America's largest brands of professionals providing end-to-end audit, assurance, tax and advisory services, has been named one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families 2026 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. This marks the second consecutive year the firm has earned the recognition, which honors organizations that provide meaningful support for working parents and caregivers.

The recognition reflects Grant Thornton's continued investment in benefits, programs and workplace practices designed to help its people succeed both professionally and personally.

"The needs of today's workforce are not one-size-fits-all, and that is especially true for working parents and caregivers," said Jeanna Shapiro, Grant Thornton's chief people & culture officer. "Creating an environment where our people can succeed professionally while meeting the demands of their personal lives is an important part of who we are as a firm. We're proud to be recognized for that commitment."

Grant Thornton offers a broad range of benefits and programs designed to support working parents and caregivers, including paid gender-neutral parental leave, flexible time off, family-building benefits, wellness resources and employee resource groups. Through these offerings, the firm aims to help its people manage the demands of work and family while continuing to grow their careers.

Grant Thornton’s commitment to creating an environment where people feel supported, empowered and connected has earned widespread recognition in recent months. In addition to being named one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families, Grant Thornton was recognized as one of Seramount's 2026 "100 Best Companies" for the 21st consecutive year and one of Forbes' America's Best Employers for Company Culture 2026 for the second consecutive year.

Newsweek's America's Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families ranking is based on feedback from working parents, company reviews and an evaluation of family-friendly workplace programs and employee sentiment. The national survey was conducted between April 2025 – October 2025, gathering company reviews from more than 100,000 working parents.
