Jason Geisler steps into new leadership role after six years as a partner
TAMPA BAY — Grant Thornton LLP, one of America’s largest audit, tax and advisory firms, has named Jason Geisler as the office managing partner (OMP) for the firm’s Tampa Bay office. Geisler has more than 18 years of experience in public accounting and has served as a partner in the firm’s Tampa Bay office for the last six years.
“It’s always exciting to see our people reach new heights in their careers, and this is just another step in Jason’s successful tenure at Grant Thornton,” said Seth Siegel, CEO at Grant Thornton. “Jason’s business acumen and his ability to build strong teams has made a great impact for the businesses we serve in the market, and I look forward to working alongside him as we continue to grow our firm and deliver the value and quality our clients deserve.”
Throughout his career, Geisler has served public and private clients in a broad range of industries, including asset management, insurance, manufacturing, media and entertainment, and technology. His service experience includes financial statement and internal control audits, accounting pronouncement implementations, business acquisitions, and debt and equity offerings.
“Grant Thornton and the Tampa Bay business community have afforded me so many incredible opportunities — and I look forward to leading our people and clients to even greater success,” said Geisler.
Geisler earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of South Florida. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He assumes his new role from Chris Martin, who now serves as OMP of the firm’s Boston office.
