Omri Avdi is the firm’s chief sales officer and a member of the National Leadership Team. In this role, he leads the firm’s national business development team, which works with clients to understand their strategic objectives so Grant Thornton can provide the right audit, tax and advisory solutions. His role also encompasses sales recruiting, training, enablement and compensation.
Avdi has a strong background in finance, which helps him have thorough and timely conversations with today’s business leaders. He previously served as a business development executive in Los Angeles, and he was most recently the sales leader for our West and Central regions. During his time at the firm, he has helped drive growth across all three service lines, supported the growth of our sports media and entertainment industry, and helped recruit and build a team of high-caliber sales professionals.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Avdi was vice president with Parker + Lynch Consulting, a division of Adecco, a Fortune 500 company and global leader in workforce solutions in Los Angeles. He also worked in the Audit practice for Deloitte and he has held various corporate finance positions before transitioning to business development in 2005.
