Grant Thornton’s Tony Perazzo named a “Top 50 Accountant” in the 2026 Northern California Accounting Firm Awards

SAN JOSE — Tony Perazzo, West region managing partner and managing partner of Grant Thornton’s Greater Bay Area offices, has been named a “Top 50 Accountant” in the 2026 Northern California Accounting Firm Awards.

Presented annually by the San Francisco Business Times and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), the awards recognize leading professionals from prominent firms across the region for their leadership, industry impact and commitment to the profession.

Perazzo leads strategy across Grant Thornton’s West region, which includes offices in six states, as well as local market strategy for the Greater Bay Area. He focuses on building strong client relationships, aligning teams around priority clients and industries and driving outcomes that support long-term success.

Perazzo brings more than 30 years of experience serving both public and private companies, primarily in the technology and consumer and industrial products industries. Throughout his career, he has advised middle-market organizations as well as large, multinational corporations, supporting clients through initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and transformation initiatives. He also has extensive experience working with private equity-backed, family-owned and venture-backed businesses.

In addition to his professional leadership, Perazzo is actively engaged in the community, serving on the Junior Achievement of Northern California Board of Directors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of San Francisco and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
