Webcast description
AI is rapidly changing the way Finance interacts with technology. The next evolution goes beyond predictions, dashboards and generative AI. It introduces AI agents capable of helping Finance interpret information, coordinate work across systems, recommend actions and, within defined boundaries, execute them under human supervision.
Join Grant Thornton's Oracle practice for a practical look at the evolution from embedded AI to agentic finance and what organizations should consider as they prepare for this next generation of intelligent finance operations. We’ll explore how capabilities within Oracle EPM can support predictions, insights and narrative generation, and how Oracle AI Agent Studio and EPM Assistants can extend the experience toward conversational, governed workflows. From there, we’ll look beyond EPM to examine what happens when a finance question requires evidence or action across the general ledger, subledgers, operational systems and other enterprise applications.
Through practical examples and demonstrations, we’ll examine a progression from AI that predicts and generates to agents that can assist, orchestrate and operate across systems, while keeping human decision rights, security and governance at the center.
The session will also explore what organizations need to consider before increasing levels of autonomy, including trusted data, standardized processes, integration readiness, security, approval rights, governance and the ability to trace recommendations and actions back to supporting evidence.
