Monica is a Managing Director in the Corporate Tax Solution Services and focuses on R&D tax credit, Section 174, ASC 842 leasing, and fixed asset related services. 

 

Monica has over 10 years of accounting experience and has been with Grant Thornton for most of this time. She has worked with a variety of clients to calculate and document federal and state R&D credits. Specifically, Monica has experience evaluating opportunities with prototypes and internal use software for inclusion in the R&D credit. Monica also has experience in ASC 842 lease implementations for both public and private clients, Section 174 capitalization, and fixed asset analyses.
