David Pearce

David Pearce is a Partner in the Corporate Tax Solutions practice at Grant Thornton, based in Bellevue, WA. With over 18 years of experience in public accounting, David brings deep expertise in federal and state tax compliance, income tax provision reporting, and strategic tax advisory for high-growth businesses across the technology, healthcare, life sciences, and manufacturing sectors.

In addition to his client-facing responsibilities, David serves on the firm’s National Tax Accounting & Audit Quality team, where he contributes to technical development, risk management, and audit support across complex engagements. He is also a member of the UP-C Technical team, providing specialized guidance on tax structuring and TRA implications for de-SPAC transactions and partnership conversions. David also plays a key role in firm initiatives such as the People Focused Champions program, where he leads efforts around recruitment, onboarding, and career development milestones for the Bellevue office.
