Stacey S. Whitfield

Stacey is an audit partner with twenty years of public accounting experience focused on public, private, and private-equity owned companies.  Stacey’s industry focus includes manufacturing and distribution companies as well as transportation, healthcare, not-for-profits, and employee benefit plans.

Stacey’s client experience ranges in revenue and complexity including experience serving a $1 billion public multinational manufacturing company and experience serving a $4 billion public multinational distribution company.

Stacey has significant experience with business combinations and acquisitions, public offerings, other regulatory filings, integrated financial statement and internal control audits, non-integrated audits, comfort letter work and has assisted clients with responses to SEC comment letters.  Stacey has significant experience with complex financial statements and related disclosures and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Stacey also has significant experience with first year audit clients, successfully transitioning them so they have a quality audit and the GT experience.

Stacey has been through successful PCAOB inspections. She has solid working relationship with Professional Practice Directors and National Professional Practice Directors. Stacey takes a collaborative approach with clients to work with clients to get to the right US GAAP answer on technical issues, maintaining the appropriate balance regarding independence.
