Krystn Hammond

 

 

 

Executive summary

 

Krystn leads the valuation practice in New York for external (non-audit) clients.  

 

She has over 15 years of experience advising pharmaceutical and life sciences clients on transactions and tax restructurings, including acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, and intellectual property migrations. Her experience spans across industry subsectors, including big pharma, biotech, medical device/diagnostics, generic, specialty, animal health, OTC/consumer, and services, with transaction sizes ranging from $50 million to in excess of $70 billion.

 

Prior to joining GT, Krystn worked as a healthcare investment banker focused on strategic M&A at Stifel, via its acquisition of Torreya Capital, advising on transactions across generics, specialty pharma, complex formulations, and infectious disease.

 

Previously, Krystn was a Director in PwC's Deals practice focused on life sciences, and also led the firm's middle market clients and opportunities business development initiative for the sector in the New York metro region.

 

Outside of work, Krystn has served on the Junior Council of American Ballet Theatre and as audit committee chair and treasurer of an international ballet scholarship competition. She is a member of the Apollo Circle of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

 

Krystn received a bachelor’s degree in Finance and master’s degree in Accounting from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. She is a CFA charter holder, a licensed CPA in the state of New York, and holds inactive FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses in good standing.

  • New York Road Runners – completed the 2014 and 2015 NYC Marathons
