Stephen Dagnell

Stephen is a partner located in Grant Thornton’s New York Melville office with over 13 years of public accounting experience serving public and private companies in numerous industries. Stephen is responsible for managing all aspects of client engagements and relationships, working closely with each of his clients to resolve questions and provide insights.

Stephen is very active in recruiting and developing professionals within the organization, leading national trainings, developing training content on various topics, and recruiting talent from local universities and through community outreach at the high school level.

Stephen has experience serving clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, private aviation, life sciences and biotechnology, transportation and logistics, energy, and professional services. Stephen has served companies ranging from small, entrepreneurial companies to large multi-national corporations. Stephen has also a focus on serving companies with SOX 404 requirements and has been involved in numerous public offerings.
