Jarrod VanDerwerken

Executive summary

Jarrod is an Audit Partner in the Boston and has over 20 years of experience auditing public and private companies within the technology, services, life sciences and medical device industries. His experience includes international companies ranging from start-ups to over $4 billion in revenues.

Jarrod serves as the New England Technology and Private Equity Leader. In these roles Jarrod supports our clients and engagement teams by advising them on hot topics, industry trends and strategic initiatives.

Jarrod’s expertise includes Security and Exchange Commission and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board rules and regulations, internal control over financial reporting, revenue recognition, complex debt and equity transactions and share based compensation. Jarrod joined CCR, now Grant Thornton, in 2006 from the TJX Companies and Norling CPA, P.C. where he held the positions of Senior Accountant and Manager of Auditing and Accounting.

Jarrod has served as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer at several of Boston’s Universities.

Jarrod received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude) from Lasell College.
