Jordan Lange
Executive summary
Jordan serves as the IT audit managing director in the Chicago office. He plans, oversees, and reviews IT audits for integrated audits under PCAOB standards. He also supports the audit team as an IT lead on PCAOB and internal audit quality inspections, and he conducts internal audit quality inspections at a national level to assess the quality of Grant Thornton’s audit engagements.
Jordan has championed several key initiatives during his time at Grant Thornton. He has developed and rolled out training related to IT audit methodology for all US IT staff. He authored national audit methodology IT testing templates. He also has been elected by firm leadership to serve on the National Audit Council, Chicago Advisory Council, and Senior Associate Advisory Council.
Jordan spent the first five years of his career in the advisory practice where he executed and reported on Information Technology (IT) risk reviews covering a wide range of IT risk and compliance areas. He also completed a rotation with Grant Thornton UK where he performed IT risk assessments across the United Kingdom.
Sector experience
Jordan’s client base covers the central United States and comprises a wide range of industries. He has the most industry experience in consumer and industrial products. Most of his clients are U.S.-headquartered companies with overseas operations. He has led IT audits across the U.S., as well as Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Education
Jordan received a Bachelor of Science in IT Management and a Latino Studies minor at the University of Notre Dame.
