Jonathan Thompson

Jonathan is a partner with over 21 years of experience in public accounting.

Jonathan has significant experience in managing and performing integrated audits of large private and publicly traded companies with both domestic and international operations. He also has significant experience in capital market transactions including the IPOs and un-registered offerings. He has worked closely with several of our Grant Thornton International offices including Mexico, Peru, Colombia, France, United Kingdom, Germany, China, Australia and South Africa.

Jonathan leads the Technology Industry Practice for the Florida market territory. In this role, Jonathan works with other engagement teams serving technology clients to identify current issues and challenges the industry faces from an accounting and operational perspective. Jonathan is also actively involved in providing internal technical training to our firm’s personnel both at the local and national level. He also teaches at external firm sponsored events on technical subject matters and supports the firm’s audit quality initiative by participating in annual quality reviews of Grant Thornton offices around the country.

Jonathan’s industry experience includes distribution, software and technology, life science, manufacturing, service and agricultural industries.
