Jim Peko
Executive summary
Jim Peko is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Grant Thornton Advisors LLC, where he leads the firm and the multinational platform it established in 2025.
In this role, he oversees the platform’s strategy, operations and growth — leading its Executive Committee to drive enterprise performance and long-term value creation across 175 offices stretching from the Americas across Europe and the Middle East to the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, Peko directly manages the multinational platform’s presence in the Americas.
He possesses nearly 30 years of experience in the financial advisory space, with expertise in strategy, value creation and corporate transformation. Over the course of his career at Grant Thornton, he has held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and National Managing Principal of Advisory Services and Transaction Services.
He previously served on the Grant Thornton LLP Partnership Board and currently sits on the boards of the Grant Thornton US Knowledge and Capability Center India Private Limited and the Grant Thornton US Shared Services Center India Private Limited. Additionally, he is the CEO of Turbo Parent Partnership LP — the ultimate parent entity of the Grant Thornton Advisors Platform.
Peko is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), and he holds a Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV). He earned an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from St. Peter’s University.
