Executive summary

She is the National Tax Solutions and Quality Leader for Grant Thornton, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, she serves on Grant Thornton's National Tax Leadership team where she helps drive strategy and growth for Tax Solutions.

Prior to this role, she was the National SALT Solution Leader, where she led the West Region SALT team, and served as the Tax Practice Leader for the California Greater Bay Area, overseeing the tax practice for the San Francisco and San Jose offices.

She has been serving Grant Thornton’s clients for over 20 years, and has in-depth experience providing a wide range of tax advisory services to businesses operating in a number of industries, but focus primarily in the technology industry. Her personal practice concentrations include: state tax minimization services such as assisting taxpayers with the development and design of effective state tax planning; controversy and settlement negotiation; state due diligence reviews and M&A transaction analysis; nexus reviews; risk mitigation solutions; accounting for income taxes and uncertain tax positions for state taxes; and compliance outsourcing and reviews. She has a passion for both client service and the deep technical nuances of taxation (especially state and local taxation), but seeks to make the growingly complex field of tax easy for her clients and teams to understand and navigate.
