Elie Doft

Executive summary

Elie is a Managing Director who leads our Structured Products practice with more than 20 years of experience in credit including 12 years as a credit analyst for a CLO Asset Manager.  Elie oversees all aspects of the work product produced by the Structured Products practice, which includes Agreed Upon Procedures (AUP) for all types of ABS transactions and CLOs.  Specific work product includes AUPs in connection with Tape to Files, Circle Ups, Cash Flow Modeling, Payment Date Verification and Effective Date Reports.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Elie spent 12 years at Telos Asset Management as a credit analyst, part of a team that managed $2bn of leveraged loan investments held in CLOs.  Elie was responsible for all aspects of deal underwriting, portfolio monitoring, modeling and documentation analysis.  Elie oversaw the indenture compliance for the CLOs, including all aspects related to monthly reporting.  Prior to joining Tiptree in 2007, Elie was a Vice President at Navigant Capital Advisors where he was part of the M&A origination team.  Previously, Elie held roles at Corporate Solutions Group, BNP Paribas, and Nationsbanc Montgomery Securities.
