Greg Haberer

Executive summary

Greg is a managing director in Grant Thornton’s Risk Advisory practice and leads GT’s national Compliance Automation capabilities, helping to drive better risk management outcomes through technology enablement. Greg has over 15 years of consulting experience delivering assessments, roadmaps, and implementations geared at automating operational control activities, automating control testing, automating data gathering, and transforming program management.  These improvements allow risk and compliance executives to achieve better assurance and reduced risk by making more of the investments they are making.

Greg is the product owner of cta.x, a web application that automates the testing of operating effectiveness over internal controls.  He designed Grant Thornton’s proprietary and patented approach to automating the end-to-end process from data gathering through results reporting.

Greg has served technology, healthcare, utility, retail, financial services, media, telecommunications, and public sector organizations.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Greg worked at Accenture delivering business application and analytics implementations for public commercial and government clients.
