Executive summary

Mohammad is a Partner in Grant Thornton’s Accounting Advisory Services (“AAS”) group. As a member of the AAS group, he assist companies with many things, which include complex accounting issues, new accounting standards implementation, public and private company reporting matters, and various other technical accounting matters, primarily focusing on high-tech, software, semi-conductor, biotech, manufacturing and healthcare.

 

Mohammad has more than 14 years of financial reporting and technical accounting experience, including extensive experience for audits of both publicly-traded and privately-held companies. He has also worked in the industry for a manufacturing company leading their accounting department. Mohammad has worked with Canadian GAAP (ASPE), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and US GAAP. His experience includes assistance with SPAC transactions, IPOs, implementation of ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 leases, SEC filings, financial reporting, audit support, ERP systems conversions, mergers & acquisitions, and stock-based compensation.
