Grant Thornton Brazil has completed a transaction that makes it part of the Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform

CHICAGO and SAO PAULO — Grant Thornton Brazil has completed a transaction that makes it part of the Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform. Launched earlier this year with the support of an investor group led by New Mountain Capital, the platform is bringing high-performing firms across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region into an integrated advisory and tax practice, complemented by independent audit practices.

The deal extends the platform’s reach into Latin America’s biggest market and follows recent transactions with Grant Thornton firms in New Zealand, the Cayman Islands, Puerto Rico and the United Arab Emirates, alongside European Grant Thornton firms including Ireland, France, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland/Liechtenstein, the Channel Islands and Poland.

The platform also includes Auxis, a pioneer in outsourcing and business modernization services, and Stax, which specializes in commercial due diligence and value creation.

Grant Thornton Brazil is a top five firm in its market and has demonstrated rapid recent growth. With almost 2,000 professionals and US$80+ million in annual revenue, the firm offers audit and tax services, complemented by a range of innovative advisory services, including a thriving business-process-optimization offering.

The addition of Brazil expands the Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform’s integrated cross-border footprint to include 17 firms spanning 20 time zones, providing clients with seamless, high-impact solutions and industry expertise.

The expanded platform will continue to be part of the Grant Thornton International Limited network, which comprises member firms in more than 150 markets worldwide.

The transaction was originally announced in November 2025.
