International business groups

At Grant Thornton we serve clients with the support of our International Business Groups. Based in the U.S., International Business Groups are collaborative teams of professionals from Grant Thornton LLP and Grant Thornton International (GTI) member firms that assist clients doing business in key regions around the world. We work with clients on a variety of initiatives, including market entry and business establishment, restructuring, business advisory, tax planning, merger and acquisition assistance, transfer pricing, expatriate planning, project management, and global audit coordination. Japan

The Japan Business Group (JBG) is a coordinated service offering between Grant Thornton Japan, Grant Thornton Mexico and Grant Thornton U.S. to support Japanese companies doing business in North America. We work with professionals in Japan to help approximately 200 Japanese companies with their Audit, Tax and Advisory needs.

China

A collaboration between Grant Thornton U.S. and Grant Thornton China, the China Business Group focuses on assisting U.S. companies doing business in the People’s Republic of China as well as helping Chinese companies doing business in the U.S.

India

The India Business Group offers services to U.S.-based clients who have planned or are planning Indian investments or operations. The group focuses on growing sectors in the Indian economy, including financial services, life sciences, technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, real estate, retail and telecommunications.

Ireland

The Irish Business Group (IBG) offers services to U.S. clients who have planned or are planning activities and operations in Ireland or a wider area of the European Union. The group also focuses on growing Ireland-based companies with investments in the U.S. The IBG delivers and coordinates a fully integrated service offering across all service lines to our clients on both sides of the Atlantic.

Latin America

The Latin America Business Group works with U.S. clients who are planning or already doing business in the region. The Group provides a dynamic collaboration across our member firms in the Americas involving all service lines, resulting in integrated global solutions for our clients.
