Luciano Centanni

Luciano (Lou) Centanni is an Audit partner located in Grant Thornton’s New York Metro offices. Lou is responsible for all aspects of services rendered to clients, including financial reporting, taxation, management consulting, special purpose audits, tax planning and general business advice.  

Luciano has been a client service partner since 2001 and has over 30 years of public accounting experience.  Although his experience spans a variety of industries, he has significant experience serving international companies in the apparel, retail, consumer & industrial products, manufacturing, distribution, professional services and various high-tech industries.  Luciano has served companies, both public and private, that range from small, entrepreneurial companies to large multi-national corporations.

Luciano served as a Director of our US International Business Center between 2001-2025 and has extensive hands-on experience working with multinational organizations in a variety of industries with global operations.  Luciano’s experience serving international clients and his extensive network of meaningful relationships globally enabled him to put our clients and people in touch with our international resources in the most efficient and effective manner.

From August 1999 to August 2001, Lou served as the U.S. European Liaison based in London, where he worked on numerous international assignments and assisted European clients with US GAAP, SEC financial reporting and American business practices and advised U.S. and European companies involved in transatlantic transactions.
