Don is a Managing Director in the Corporate Value Consulting practice of Grant Thornton’s Houston office with over 20 years of real estate valuation, advisory and consulting experience. Don has a wide range of experience in the valuation and analysis of commercial real estate, serving a variety of lenders, pension funds and private and public owners/investors. Don has unique valuation skills in the context of financial reporting requirements. Don has completed engagements throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

Don has significant experience valuing investment grade assets such as industrial properties, office buildings, hospitality, truck terminals, shopping centers, malls and apartments. Don also has experience with a variety of special-purpose properties such as hospitals, medical office buildings, assisted living facilities, golf courses, farm and ranch properties, vineyards, casinos and other entertainment venues, restaurants, mixed-use properties, and subdivisions. Don also has deep expertise with Argus (industry-standard real estate asset valuation software, and has developed numerous custom financial modelling solutions for his clients.
