Kris Ruckman is a partner and the leader of Grant Thornton’s Mid-South market territory IT services. He has more than 25 years of experience in IT planning, implementation and governance, as well as mergers and post-merger integration assistance. He has extensive experience with large-scale ERP and supply chain implementation projects utilizing SAP, Oracle, Adexa, i2 and JD Edwards. Ruckman has extensive experience in finance, manufacturing, supply chain management and order management. His focus is in supply chain planning (product planning, product scheduling and logistics); financial (general ledger, reporting, consolidation and shared services); and assemble-to-order manufacturing (models and options and variant configuration).
Ruckman’s industry focus is on international industrial and consumer products companies with complex supply chains where sourcing, manufacture, assembly and testing may be done in different regions/countries around the world. Ruckman has international experience in Europe and Central/Latin America, including foreign trade zones and supply chain planning for cross-border movement of goods. Previously, Ruckman was with Perot Systems Corp., where he led the Southeast region consulting practice. Before that, he was with Andersen for 16 years, where he was the Southeast region lead partner for SAP and the national partner-in-charge of the Adexa supply chain planning practice.
