Mike Carter is a Managing Director in Grant Thornton’s Operational Transformation Advisory practice. Mike has a unique combination of Operational Risk Management Skills, Source-to-Pay Operational Excellence, Procurement Model Design and Third Party Contract Risk Reduction experiences.
With more than 20 years of experience across consulting and banking industries, Mike has served large global clients in both an advisory and executive capacity, most recently as the Procurement Executive for a top 5 Financial Institution. His experience includes assisting in Business Strategy, Operating Model Design, Risk & Control Self Assessment and Risk Harmonization.
Mike has sold and delivered multiple transformational initiatives across Operational Risk and Compliance in Global Financial Institutions. Although primiarily focused on Financial Services, Mike has led Operational Transformation in multiple industries, including Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods and Telecommunications
