Michael Sullivan

Mike is a partner in Grant Thornton’s Forensic Advisory Services practice located in New York, NY.  

Mike has over 15 years of experience leading a wide variety of matters assisting both companies and attorneys with forensic accounting matters, business disputes, the assessment of economic damages, litigation consulting, funds tracing exercises, fraud investigations, financial modeling, data analytics, valuation related issues, and other financial and accounting analysis.  His clients include both public and private companies and his primary industry experience is in the financial services, construction, and retail industries.

Mike has reported to in-house and outside counsel, law enforcement agencies, boards of directors, senior management, auditors, and lending groups. The financial and forensic accounting investigations that Mike has led have included those involving white-collar crime and whistleblower allegations. Also, Mike has been qualified as an expert, provided expert testimony and consulted on business and post-acquisition disputes in addition to matters involving insurance claim recovery, bankruptcy and business strategy.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Mike was a manager in Huron Consulting Group’s Forensic Advisory practice in New York.
