Ash Dalnoot

Ash is an audit partner, board member and the broker-dealer audit leader of Grant Thornton LLP. He serves as a lead engagement partner responsible for audits of complex regulated entities, including broker-dealers, specialized financial service complexes, and digital asset platforms. Ash is a trusted advisor to financial services clients navigating complex regulatory environments, bringing a strong focus on audit quality and practical execution. He works closely with management teams and boards to address technical accounting matters, regulatory requirements, and evolving industry risks. He specializes in financial services, with extensive experience serving broker-dealers, banks, and other regulated entities.

His expertise includes regulatory compliance, internal control frameworks, financial reporting, and complex accounting issues across a range of industries. In addition to his client responsibilities, Ash serves in governance roles outside the firm, including as a board member and audit committee leader. Through these roles, he brings a governance-oriented perspective to his work with clients and their boards.

Ash has more than 23 years of accounting experience, including experience at a Big 4 firm auditing public and private companies across multiple industries, and experience as a regulator with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). His background continues to inform his focus on audit quality and risk management.
