With over 20 years of consulting experience in both the public and private sectors, Greg Wallig brings a unique perspective to organizations that are seeking to optimize the performance of their business. Leading our Arlington office, our clients benefit from Wallig’s understanding of diverse industry segments, international locations and CXO chains of command. He is particularly adept at creating, assessing and optimizing risk frameworks, and for the past four years has led Grant Thornton’s Public Sector governance, risk and compliance (GRC) practice. In his role as GRC practice leader, Wallig focuses on enterprise risk management (ERM), information assurance, program integrity, internal controls and forensic accounting. He frequently writes and speaks on the topic of utilizing risk management principles to achieve organizational objectives.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton in 2005, Wallig was a manager with Accenture and a principal with American Management Systems (now CGI), specializing in global technology development, program management and product launch, including expatriate assignments in Switzerland and the Middle East.
