Colin Spreier

Colin is a partner in our Dallas, Texas office. Colin has 20 years of public accounting experience working with large public engagements in the energy and manufacturing industries, as well as working with various private clients. Colin’s energy industry experience includes substantial involvement in the upstream, midstream and oilfield service sectors of the energy industry. 

Colin has a strong background in SEC reporting, including initial public offerings and other capital market activities. Colin specializes in internal controls over financial reporting and has extensive experience performing integrated audits, ICFR implementations, and audit quality monitoring. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Colin worked at EY and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. In addition, Colin gained valuable industry experience as the Assistant Controller of Chesapeake Energy.
