Scott Remington

Executive summary

Scott is the Tax Practice Leader for the Denver, Colorado tax practice for Grant Thornton and serves clients in the Tax Reporting and Advisory Practice. His background includes over 30 years of providing tax consulting, compliance, accounting and business advice to dynamic companies that have very diverse needs driven by complexity such as private-equity or public ownership, international operations, and deep technical needs.

As part of serving these dynamic companies,  Scott leads teams that are responsible for the delivery of services and tax savings solutions from Grant Thornton’s specialty service groups, such as accounting methods, transfer pricing, merger & acquisitions,  international tax planning, valuation services, and state & local taxation services.

Additionally, Scott’s practice includes significant experience in supporting quarterly and year-end financial statement audits and the application of ASC740.
