Hilary has over 14 years of experience providing audit services under PCAOB and AICPA standards to clients primarily in the energy and consumer and industrial products industries. Hilary is a member of Grant Thornton’s national office and serves as a Central Region professional practice director and is a recognized technical leader with a focus on audit quality. The Central region serves approximately 80 publicly traded companies. Hilary delivers and develops professional continuing education training across the region and continues to serve a number of audit clients.
Hilary has broad and deep Energy experience serving U.S.-based clients of varying sizes from start-up, closely-held non-public entities to a publicly traded Fortune 500 company. She has managed audit engagements with SEC financial reporting requirements, served clients raising capital through secondary debt and equity offerings, as well as initial public offerings. Hilary’s role leading dynamic clients active in the capital markets has afforded Hilary an opportunity to work collaboratively with most of the largest investment banks and law firms in the United States. Hilary is a leader in the Energy industry, both in Grant Thornton and in the community.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Hilary graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting and a master of science in accounting. Hilary is a certified public accountant in Oklahoma and a member of the AICPA and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Hilary is committed to the recruitment, development and advancement of women in the accounting profession. Hilary has led the Women@GT business resource group and is visible in the community and marketplace as a founding board member and previous board member of the Tulsa Chapter of the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance. Hilary is an active member of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Oklahoma.
Community involvement
Hilary has a passion for healthy, active living. She is an avid CrossFit athlete. Hilary is a member of the American Heart Association’s Circle of Red and a board member of the Tulsa Ballet.
