Bobbi-Jo Pankaj is a Managing Director within Grant Thornton Public Sector LLC’s Risk Services practice. She is a seasoned risk management practitioner with nearly twenty years of experience focused on serving government clients with a wide variety of governance, risk and compliance activities. She is a subject matter expert in all phases of an internal control and risk management program, from developing program governance, documenting and testing controls, to creating corrective action plans.
She has supported various legislative, judiciary and executive branch agencies with their risk management programs including the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC), Consumer Financial Protection Board (CFPB), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation (DOT), House of Representatives (HOR), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Prior to her work at Grant Thornton, Bobbi-Jo worked at Accenture assisting with a large scale system implementation at the Department of Defense.
Bobbi-Jo routinely speaks as a subject matter expert in forums related to internal controls and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and is an active member of both the Association for Federal Enterprise Risk Management (AFERM) and the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
