Tom is a Principal in Grant Thornton’s Advisory Services practice and leads FS-Strategy & Performance Improvement (S&PI) in the U.S.
With more than 25 years of Financial Services (FS) experience, Tom spent the majority of his career advising multi-national FS firms across their core Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Wealth Management and Insurance businesses in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific. His experience includes leading large and complex strategy and delivery programs. He is most recognized for helping enable businesses to better perform and integrate their full set of core capabilities for the benefit of their customers, finding new opportunities to grow, and effectively adapting to changes in the compliance and regulatory, business environments.
Tom most recently worked at North Highland Worldwide Consulting where he was a VP/Executive in their Financial Services Banking practice.
Before that role, Tom held leadership positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he was Head of Strategy for the Institutional Retirement business, led global enterprise business integration initiatives, built a new consumer directed healthcare (CDHC) business, and served as an executive on multiple large scale M&A and transition programs.
Early on in Tom’s career, he worked for Andersen Consulting LLP/Accenture (global banking practices located in Sydney, Australia and Charlotte, NC), Burlington Industries and Jefferson-Pilot Corp.
