Jeffery M. Gellman

 

 

 

Executive summary


Jeffery is an Audit Partner in the New York Manhattan office of Grant Thornton LLP and has worked for Grant Thornton since 2002. Jeffery has significant public accounting experience and has participated in domestic and foreign registration statements filed with the SEC, served public companies (including accelerated filers), and been involved with numerous SEC filings throughout his career. Jeffery has served a variety of public and private companies including media/publishing, food and beverage, technology and software, energy, manufacturing, and service companies. Jeffery serves as the captain for Grant Thornton’s Northeast Media and Entertainment practice.

 

From October 2007 to September 2011, he served as the US Resident in the London office of Grant Thornton UK LLP. His primary responsibility as a US Resident was to provide US accounting guidance and expertise to Grant Thornton clients and engagement teams located within the UK and throughout Europe. Jeffery also served clients evaluating their International accounts to identify reconciling items to US GAAP.

 

Upon his return to the US, he resumed servicing audit clients. His experience serving international clients and working with Grant Thornton International member firms enables him to put clients and people in touch with our international resources in the most efficient and effective manner.
