Prior to his public accounting experience, Charles was a middle-market corporate lender with a major financial institution.

Charles specializes in the valuation and analysis of equity securities and financial and intangible assets. He has conducted valuation assignments for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, shareholder disputes, allocations of purchase price and tax planning in a broad variety of industries. He has extensive experience in valuing companies in the manufacturing, health care and financial services industries, as well as valuing start-up and emerging growth companies.

• Certifications: Charles is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of North Carolina (License Number 23827) and has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He has also earned the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the AICPA
