Forrest Frazier is a partner in the Business Advisory Services practice of Grant Thornton’s Charlotte office. With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Frazier specializes in serving companies in the financial services and technology industries. He leads the firm’s Carolinas Special Attestation Reports Solution Group and is one of two partners who lead all such engagements performed across the Southeast. He has served a wide variety of clients, including software developers, financial services institutions, benefit plan administrators, specialty data processors, data center operators and real estate managers. Additionally, Frazier has extensive experience leading large and complex projects.
For approximately four years, he was a leader of a public company financial statement restatement project involving over 1,000 resources and over 1 million man-hours of work. Recently, Frazier led an Independent Validation of Consent Order project for a large bank involving over 16,000 hours of work by 60 professionals over a six-month period. Additionally, Frazier has led compliance and consulting projects to assist large financial institutions with complying with MHA and HAMP requirements. Finally, Frazier has extensive experience with internal audit co- and outsourcing and enterprise risk assessment engagements. Prior to joining Grant Thornton in 2002, Frazier spent the first nine years of his career with Arthur Andersen.
