Jim Burton is Grant Thornton's national partner of Audit Methodologies. Earlier, Burton was the managing partner for the Denver office, and he continues as the lead Audit partner serving clients across many industries. He has held a variety of roles, including Internal Control over Financial Reporting Resource Center national leader; Professional Excellence Committee member; International Business Center director (U.S. Central Region); Professional Standards partner (Dallas); Audit practice leader (Greater Bay Area); Audit Improvement Task Force chairman; and European liaison manager (London).
