Ice cream manufacturer transforms HR
The largest ice cream manufacturing facility in the country and its employees are enjoying the advantages of moving to an HR cloud solution.
As Wells planned for significant growth, including a $40 million expansion to its NW Iowa plant, they chose Grant Thornton to help streamline HR processes and implement Oracle cloud. Oracle’s modern cloud platform ― which consolidates data, enables self-reporting and provides seamless updates ― has cut onboarding time in half and freed up IT resources to deploy to other strategic initiatives.
The journey to the cloud provides Wells with a scalable platform for growth and acquisition, and positions it to adopt other cloud-based applications.
“Now we have data at our fingertips that we can use for analytics. We’re going to build on that,” said Wells Enterprises Director of Applications Jasen Heaton. “The flexibility is there. Now I can go to our leadership and say, ‘We can handle this move.’”
