Adam Martinson

Adam Martinson primarily concentrates on tax compliance and planning for privately held businesses and high-net worth individuals and families. In addition to serving as a managing director in the firm’s Cleveland office, he is a leading member of the office’s Wealth and Human Capital Solutions Team.

As part of the latter role, Adam serves most of the Cleveland office’s high net-worth individuals and families, as well as both individuals and family offices in various markets across the country. He provides these clients with a wide variety of services, including personal and trust tax compliance consulting, as well as detailed guidance related to pass-through entity taxation.

Professional qualifications and memberships

Adam is a certified public accountant in Ohio, and he holds memberships in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland. 

Community involvement

Adam is highly involved in the Cleveland philanthropic community. He is a member of the Gift Planning Advisory Committee for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and he is a member of the Bridge Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Ohio. The board is an active group of young professionals who have a passion for helping local youth. Additionally, Adam is a member of the advisory council for the accounting department at Kent State University, his alma mater.

Adam earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Kent State University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the same institution.
