What do you think would have the biggest impact on growing the game and/or making it more inclusive?
Greater representation of unique and diverse voices on the largest stages. You have to see someone in order to believe you can be them. Representation matters. Inclusivity matters.
If someone told me they didn’t belong in golf, I would say:
Everyone should be able to play golf. Accessibility and inclusion are big issues we need to collectively improve. There have been times when even I have walked into a club and not felt welcome — and I'm a professional golfer. I often think about what someone of a different background, color, religion or sexuality who isn’t a professional might feel and it bothers me because I love golf and it's given me so much in life. We as a golfing community need to pull together and make it as inclusive as possible. It should be a safe place.
