Get to know Matthew

At just 22 years old, Matthew Wolff already has the golf world buzzing. Following an impressive collegiate career at Oklahoma State, he had a historic professional entrance on the PGA TOUR® when, in only his third professional start, he became one of the youngest winners in TOUR history, clinching victory at the 2019 3M Open. He joined Crenshaw and Woods as the only players to win the NCAA Individual Title and a PGA TOUR event in the same year. His one-of-a-kind swing and bold personality make him stand out as not only one of the most dynamic hitters on TOUR, but also one of the game's most unique players.
What do you think is a challenge to getting started with golf?

Accessibility can definitely be a challenge, but it shouldn’t matter what your background is or where you’re from. Everyone should have the ability to play and enjoy the game.

What would you tell your 13-year-old self or someone just taking up the game?

I would tell my 13-year-old self to just have fun. Golf can be one of the hardest games in the world but, if you're enjoying yourself and having fun, that's really all that matters. To be able to come out here and do what I love is really special. I hope many kids can grow up and do the same.
