Mr. Tang leads Grant Thornton's Enterprise Technology Strategy practice to drive strategy, optimize investments, transform experience and enable delivery. He has extensive experiences in managing business of IT for his public and private sector's CIO clients from $40 million to $4 billion technology organizations.

 

He helped his clients to achieve their business goals by defining strategies and architecture, formulating portfolios, prioritizing IT investments, and managing resources. He manages large-scale IT transformation programs focused on integration of business and IT with outstanding record of delivering innovative business solutions. For example, Mr. Tang facilitated governance boards to analyze trade-off of IT investments and measure performance of those investments.

 

He implemented management structures, cost models, Technology Business Management (TBM) Framework, processes and tools to improve efficiency. He conducted business case analysis, used design thinking methodologies such as journey mapping and persona definition to understand his client's business needs, and provided oversights for large IT initiatives. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified TBM Executive (CTBME), a Certified FinOps practitioner, a Certified Scrum Master (SMC), and an ITIL foundation practitioner.
