Herring brings more than 29 years of business experience to the role.
Herring started his career with Arthur Andersen in London before moving to Budapest to help establish the firm’s new office there. He later moved to the U.S. and held positions including partner-in-charge of knowledge management for the global assurance practice. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Herring served as director of business reporting at the AICPA and led the Public Company Task Force of the Enhanced Business Reporting Consortium.
