Alexandra is a Tax Managing Director in the Fort Lauderdale office of Grant Thornton, LLP and has over 15 years of experience in both public accounting and corporate tax. She focuses on tax planning and strategy for high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses in a variety of industries including real estate, private investments, financial services, manufacturing and distribution, farming, and dairy and cattle operations.

 

Alexandra has extensive experience working with high-net-worth families and their portfolio of businesses, including partnerships, s-corporations, and c-corporations. She also has significant experience consulting with closely held businesses on a variety of tax issues, including partner and shareholder tax basis studies, business sale modeling, qualified business income deductions, corporate restructurings, fixed asset studies, like-kind exchanges, qualified opportunity zones, captive insurance arrangements, foreign tax credits, state and local tax nexus issues, and personal property taxes.

Education

  • Alexandra holds an MSA with a focus in tax from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and a BS in business administration with a dual major in both accounting and marketing from Elmira College in New York.
