Wade Weeks is managing partner of Grant Thornton’s Atlanta office and has over 32 years of experience in public accounting. Prior to his current role, he served as partner-in-charge of Grant Thornton’s Central Florida offices, based in Tampa. Weeks spent the majority of his career at Deloitte, serving numerous clients out of practice offices in Mobile and Birmingham, Ala.; Charlotte, N.C.; and Jacksonville, Fla. Weeks has held various leadership positions during his career, which include leading the Carolinas growth company services group for the North Carolina and South Carolina offices, focusing on early-stage companies preparing for IPOs; leading the Southeast internal control subject matter resource group; serving as the HR partner for Florida/Puerto Rico and Marketplace Leader for Birmingham. Weeks also has extensive experience in leading and coordinating global engagement teams for multinational clients, as well as serving as partner in the retail sector for a Fortune 100 DIY and several national and regional retailers.
Weeks has in-depth experience working with large and small public and private companies; leading engagement teams that serve companies involved in public equity and debt offerings, private placement offerings, IPOs, and going-private transactions; as well as providing SEC compliance services.
