Amanda Richardson

Executive summary

Amanda is a partner in the Tax Reporting & Advisory practice in Kansas City. She has extensive experience in public accounting providing tax and consulting services to a variety of businesses. She serves as the lead relationship ensuring all aspects of the engagement including quality, timely deliverable, and overall satisfaction with our services.

Amanda has worked extensively on federal, state and international tax compliance work for her diverse clients spanning industries such as manufacturing, transportation, wholesale and technology. She serves a diverse group of public companies consulting on their ASC 740 income tax accounting including assistance with Tax Function Optimization “TFO”. She also serves many private companies including closely held corporations, cooperatives, S-Corporations, partnerships and their respective shareholders. Amanda drives tax planning strategies to benefit all her clients including advice and modeling for various method changes, credits and studies. Most recently Amanda has focused on assisting her clients with successfully navigating and implementing the recent law changes due to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as well as with the new FASB ASC 842 lease accounting standard.

Amanda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves on the board of a nonprofit organization, Synergy Services, and is a member of the Kansas City Chamber’s Centurions program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in both Finance and Accounting from the University of Kansas.
