Dan Powers has more than 26 years of public accounting experience and has provided accounting, tax and advisory services to numerous large and mid-sized companies with both domestic and foreign operations. Powers has extensive experience with issues concerning consolidated returns; S corporation and partnership returns; accounting for income tax issues; net operating loss utilization; SALT planning; M&A; and individual tax and family wealth planning.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he was a partner with Arthur Andersen for 18 years and Deloitte and Touche for two years, serving public and private clients in a variety of industries.
