William (Bill) is Grant Thornton’s Managing Director in charge of working nationally with government contractors. Bill has spent many years working as a government contractor and providing consulting services. He knows what government contractors need to know to operate a successful, compliant business.
Bill has over 30 years of experience in public accounting and government contracting. Bill has worked with several Big 4 accounting firms, as well as a CFO of a major business unit of a large defense contractor. He has also worked as a Federal Chief Compliance Officer, Finance and Business Operations in support of the Federal practice of a large international accounting and consulting firm. Bill’s experience includes assisting many of his clients with developing and maintaining compliance with federal regulations. He was successful in gaining approval for a firms Accounting, Estimating Systems and Procurement Systems by the DCMA. Bill has commercial and international experience in financial and business management and is a recognized leader in the federal government industry sector.
