Dan Flowers has more than 17 years of audit experience in Grant Thornton’s Reno office. He has been responsible for planning, executing and completing external audits in a variety of industries, both public and private, including gaming and hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, non-profit, high-tech, governmental, and real estate. Flowers’ gaming and hospitality experience has involved performing audits in accordance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, researching and analyzing U.S. GAAP issues, and performing internal audit work for casinos in accordance with control standards mandated by Nevada, New Jersey, Indiana, Louisiana and Mississippi.
